Important

You have come to the right place if you are looking to make money on the internet. There are a lot of different ways to make money and most websites will only show you one. Below are 5 good money making ideas for you to choose from.

1-Sweepstakes. If you are looking for a hobby that will pay off over time then sweepstakes could be for you. Entering sweepstakes are mostly hit and miss and the winnings that you take in depend on the amount of time that you spend each day entering them. There are a lot of sweepstakes online to enter but there are some that are better than others. Unless you want to wait a long time for prizes from sweepstakes that may end in two or three months, I have found that it is best to enter sweepstakes that are ending in the next week or so. That way there is not a long wait from your entry to the time that they give out the prizes. Also, sweepstakes that someone can only enter once are best because it increases your odds of winnings and keeps you from having to enter the same sweepstakes over each day for the ones that allow you to do that. There are people that will spend all of there time entering these each day and almost never win because the odds are a lot less. Instant win sweepstakes are good if you enter them in the middle of the night because the sites are designed to give out just so many prizes per hour and less people enter at 3am than at 5pm. Some of the prizes can be pretty large and expensive too such as cars, boats, guitars, and houses.

2-Game Websites. There are a few game websites that you can enter that will give you some kind of ‘points’ for each game played. You can then use these points to redeem for prizes or sweepstakes on their website. Some even pay you cash for winning although not a lot of money at one time unless you pay money to be in their upgraded class with better games. These websites do work though, but don’t expect a lot of money at once if you are looking for something for free. They are good as hobbies though to waste time playing games and get something for it.

3-Surveys. Some websites will email you surveys on a regular basis and pay you cash over time or give you points to redeem on their website. Companies pay these sites to gather information about their products and services. They are legit and do not take much time to do. The payout is not great but can add up over time. Just be careful that the points that you are trying to save up do not expire after a while. Then it would just be wasted time.

4-Advertisements on a Blog. There are some sites where you can post a Blog, which is just your thoughts, ideas, or even information, and allow ads by Google or other ad sites to put advertisements on it. The amount of money that you make depends on the number of hits to your blog-site or the number of hits on each ad. Free sites usually keep 50% of this money and you get the other half. This is fair. The free website uses the money to keep up their sites and for the cost of doing business. It also covers any expenses that you would have had to pay in order to own your own website. These free sites are the best way to start out if you plan on running your own site eventually. That way there is little risk involved for you. After you start making money by posting blogs, use some of that money to get your own site. It will take time to get it set-up and fully functional but you will get all of the money from the ads. Once you have your own website, you can look for products online that you may be able to sell off of your site. You share some of the profits but there is no inventory for you to have to keep up with. Another idea is for you to make a product, such as candles for example, and sell them on your site. You are well on your way to making a lot of money.

5-Ebay. Sites like EBay let you buy and sell products for a profit. You do have to open an account with them and this also can be hit or miss depending on what you are selling. If you do decide to sell your own products, like the candles again, and choose not to have a website, this is a good idea to get started.

These are some easy and cheap ways to get started making money on the internet. Don’t expect a windfall of profits all at once though, but once you get into it, the payouts will come.

Perspective

Each and every one of us experience ups and downs in our lives on a daily basis. Sometimes it may seem that we have more than our own fair share of challenges. Dealing with these challenges can be very draining and have a negative spiraling effect if we don't adopt a different perspective.

Perspective

"Nothing in life has any real meaning except the meaning you give it." -- Tony Robbins

No matter what event occurs in your life, there are multiple ways to look at it. To one individual, a job loss is the end of the world. They have lost their livelihood, their ability to provide for their family, their purpose. To another individual, however, a job loss means new opportunities and possibilities. They have been given a chance to pursue a new direction or discover a new career. They hated the job and just didn't know how to take the step necessary to move on. Two people with very different responses to the same situation.

Have you ever had one of those days where you thought you must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed because nothing seemed to be going right that day? First, you trip over the pile of clothes left on the floor from the night before, then you get in the shower to find the shampoo bottle empty. You make it downstairs to find that the coffee pot didn't get turned on and you are already running late for work. The rest of the day doesn't seem to go much better. What if many of those things are things that you regularly experience and just tend not to focus on them. Put them all together and you begin to look for all the bad things that are going to happen to you that day.

There is a lot of talk about how we ATTRACT things in our lives. If we focus on good things, we get more good things and if we focus on the bad, well, we get more bad. It doesn't have anything to do with attraction. We aren't magnets in that sense with one side being the positive attracting energy and the other being the negative attracting energy. In fact, every situation is equal until we give it meaning.

The Candy Store

We are like little children in a candy store. We consume rather than attract and we tend to have a preferred candy that we go after. Our candy is either a positive perspective or a negative perspective. We thrive on that flavor and seek out more of it. Just like the children in the candy store, if we get hungry, we will go get more of our favorite candy.

Positive candy allows us to see the good things in every situation. The job loss has meaning. The traffic saves us from an accident. The extra unforeseen expense is an opportunity. We eat up these positive reflections and seek out more and more of them. This is often known as the optimist and the third times' a charm.

Negative candy expects us to always find the worst in situations. The tough breaks, the bad luck. This is where we wonder why everything happens to us and why is life so unfair. The pessimist at heart, this person reflects on life as three strikes and you're out.

We may occasionally reach into a different candy bin but we naturally gravitate towards our preferred flavor.

Tastes change

Every time I ask my 15 year old if he wants something to eat it seems he says he wants something he never liked before. When I tell him he didn't like that his response to me is always, "Tastes change mom."

That's good news for those that prefer the negative flavor.

For just 24 hours, challenge yourself to look at every situation for which you have a negative response. Be open to the possibilities that situation may allow for. Consider all the alternatives that it could mean. This exercise takes practice. The longer you do it, the easier it gets. Stop yourself whenever you begin to think negatively and challenge those thoughts. Is that really the meaning you want to give to that situation? What other meanings might it have. You don' t have to believe the meanings you WANT to give it, just begin to find those meanings. Eventually, your tastes will change too.
